Washington Terrace City Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to providing its citizens with meaningful leisure time activities and facilities geared toward improving their physical, mental, and social well-being. With great parks, programs, and facilities, you’ll find we have something for everyone.

Youth Programs
The City offers a diverse range of recreation activities for all youth age groups. Click here to find out key sign up and season start dates. You can sign up for any recreation program right here online by clicking on the link at the top of this page, or register at City Hall anytime from 8 a.m to 5 p.m Monday through Friday.
Washington Terrace City Parks
Washington Terrace City parks have lots to offer. Sports fields, pavilions, walking trails, playgrounds, great views and more. *NO alcohol or smoking allowed in buildings or on city property.
Terrace City Trails
Exercise is a fundamental necessity in maintaining one’s health. One of the most beneficial exercises is that of walking, jogging, or running. Click here for information outlining trails throughtout the City.

Civic Community Senior Center
The Civic-Senior Community Center and its programs are available to all community residents. It operates as a Senior Center Monday-Friday 8am-4pm for those ages 55 and older.

Facility Rentals
The City has made its parks available for rent to its citizens. These rentals include the Rohmer Park Pavilion. Reservations are made at City Hall, or for more information call (801) 393-8681.
