Nilson Homes names Jim Salas as new Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

Nilson Homes is excited to announce that Jim Salas is joining the executive leadership team as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Jim will be responsible for setting the strategic focus of Nilson Homes marketing and sales teams. His leadership will provide a strong marketing vision and create a performance-oriented culture to ensure alignment with the company’s financial and strategic goals. He has over a decade of industry experience, primarily in sales management and consulting roles in a Fortune 50 organization. In addition, he has consulted for a wide variety of firms in areas such as sales performance, innovation, brand strategy, customer relationship management and services marketing.

He teaches business marketing in the executive MBA programs at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. He earned his MBA and PhD in marketing from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. In addition to his experience in industry, Jim is an accomplished academic who has published his work in leading marketing academic journals such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Review, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, and Journal of Product and Brand Management, to name a few. His most recent book was published by Business Expert Press and is entitled “Profiting from Services and Solutions: What Product-Centric Firms Need to Know.”
