Summer has come to an end, but there’s still plenty of great weather left to get out and enjoy all the events in and around Ogden this September. From a Greek theater festival to the Utah State Fair, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this September in Ogden.

The days are getting shorter and there’s a chill to the air as we head into autumn. Pretty soon it will be all about Pumpkin Spice and preparing for the holidays. Don’t let the last days of summer slip by without getting out and enjoying these great events in Ogden this September.

Utah State Fair
When: September 8^th – 18^th, 2016
Where: Utah State Fair Grounds

This year’s Utah State Fair will be happening September 8-18, 2016. The Fair starts the first Thursday after Labor Day and lasts 10 days. Events includes Grandstand Shows, Arena Events, Barrel Racing, Kids Activities, and much more!

31^st Annual Wildwoods Bash
When: September 9^th, 2016
Where: Ogden Nature Center

Ogden, UT

The Ogden Nature Center presents the 31st annual Wildwoods BASH at our nature preserve located at 966 W 12th Street in Ogden from 5-8:30 p.m. This al fresco event includes a gourmet dinner, live music and an auction of nature and outdoor inspired items.

DUP History Search Night
When: September 15^th, 2016
Where: Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum

Ogden, UT

Come to the Museum and learn how easy it is to search for your family’s histories or see if there is a photo of your ancestor. You will have a hands on experience of searching through the thousands of histories or photos to find one of your family. Bring a names of your ancestors and see if there is a history about them. If you find one, a copy of the history will be emailed to you. If you are interested in participating in this activity you will need to call Sue Bybee @ 801-391-1447 for a reservation to participate in the Activity.

Herakles – The 46^th Annual Classical Greek Theatre Festival
When: September 20^th, 2016
Where: Westminster College
Weber State University

Ogden, UT

The Classical Greek Theatre Festival at Westminster will tour a production of Euripides’ rarely performed tragedy Herakles. The tour runs throughout Utah from September 2–25 and debuts at Westminster College on September 2 at 7:30 p.m.
