Marketing Analyst

Nilson Homes is a large production home builder, based in South Ogden, Utah. The Marketing Analyst will lead efforts and assist in sales analysis, understanding specific markets, predicting price trends, demand characteristics, and other important market indicators.  The Marketing Analyst will also serve as a lead project manager for specific high visibility projects with the direction from the Marketing Manager.  This person will develop reports and insights on advertising effectiveness, SEO, client acquisition costs, margin analysis, and website analytics.  This person is expected to present findings to the marketing and sales leadership team to help them make sound business decisions.  

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

    Maintain Marketing Report
    Create and generate a variety of sales and marketing reports
    Conduct market research
    Prepare and present reports and presentations on report insights using visual charts and graphs
    Analyze information from marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, and social media posts.
    Create copy and marketing content as needed.
    Measure the effectiveness of advertising, marketing, and sales strategies.
    Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis on their sales, prices, and product portfolio to thoroughly understand our competition
    Transform data into business insights•    Understand the customer journey and report key moments of truth
    Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and what buyers are willing to pay more for in terms of product features.
    Track and forecast key market trends
    Devise and assess procedures and methods for data collection, including focus groups and surveys
    Lead and manage special projects as directed
    Assist Transaction Coordinator and back fill as needed

Qualities needed to be successful:

    Experience in real estate or home construction
    Analytical skills
    Strong Excel skills
    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, or related field
    Demonstrable experience with data collection methods
    Highly effective communicator

PRE-CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

Nilson Homes is a large production home builder, based in South Ogden, Utah. Our Vision is to improve lives by building community. Our Mission is to provide an exceptional experience for clients, team members, and partners by building thoughtfully designed, expertly crafted homes, in lasting communities planned for all stages of life. We are currently seeking a happy, self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented, and forthright individual to be our Pre-Construction Admin.

The Pre-Construction Admin will perform various administrative tasks in support of the Pre-Construction, Purchasing, and Estimating departments at Nilson Homes. The primary focus of the Administrator will be complete and timely submissions, tracking, and communication, both internal and external, required for procurement of building permits - in an effort to support and facilitate the timely and efficient release of homes to Construction. He/she will also be responsible for and assist in various Purchasing & Estimating related tasks, initiatives, and projects.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, submitting and pickup of Construction Building Permits
  • Submitting of and payment for Gas Service Line Agreements
  • Timely and complete submissions for and reporting/tracking of Rebates
  • Processing Invoices and Variance Purchase Orders, as needed
  • Assist in onboarding of new Trades and Suppliers
  • Ensuring Trade Partner insurance documentation is current and compliant
  • Maintaining complete, current and accurate documentation of:
  • Building Permits
  • Impact Fees
  • Trade Partner insurance
  • Generate reporting for Purchasing & Estimating
  • Cross departmental coordination with Drafting, Construction, Accounting
  • Problem solving / Issue Resolution

Other tasks & duties as assigned by Dir of Pre-Construction


  • Qualities Needed to Be Successful

  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience in use of PlanSwift estimating software or BuilderMT a plus

RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Nilson Homes is expanding and looking to hire an experienced, qualified, residential construction superintendent to oversee the scheduling and quality control of new homes.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, establishing and maintaining schedules, reading and understanding plans and specifications, identifying and resolving problems that may arise during the building process, resolving concerns with customers, communicating with customers and sales agents throughout the home building process, monitoring the quality of material and workmanship on each home, and ensuring that the job sites are operating with safety as a priority.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years as a residential construction superintendent, basic computer skills, excellent leadership skills, and great communication and organizational skills.
