It’s spring and that means time to get out and enjoy all the family friendly events in Ogden this April. From Spiker’s High School Rodeo to the Ogden Climbing Festival, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.

Spiker’s High School Rodeo

Utah High school rodeo at it’s best. National High School Rodeo Assoc. members of Utah compete in a rodeo sponsored by Weber County’s own Spiker’s High School Rodeo club. Friday 3pm Saturday 9am

Gem Stone Junction

Guests from near and far are always welcome at our annual 3-day rock and gem show. There’s plenty of Free Parking and this year we have a spring break special. On Friday, April 7th, 2017 all families with children age 12 and under will get in FREE. Over 25 dealers will be selling tools, equipment, gemstones, rough rocks, minerals and more. Try your luck at the Silent Auction or Gold Panning. Drool over the displays, and door prizes, and then run as fast as you can to get away from Mr. Bones Walking Dinosaurs. Grab bags are for sale, tough and see different samples of what Mother Nature has to offer, or get help with rock ID. There will be displays, demonstrations and members to answer your questions.

2^nd Annual SMB Spring Horse Sale
When: April 8^th, 2017

Formal Preview will begin at 10:00 am with Sale time starting at 1:00 pm. Concessions will be available. Buyers can arrange for pre-purchase exams by contacting SMB Horse Sales prior to the sale.

Easter Rendezvous

Held Easter Weekend each year, this event marks the opening of our season. Come join us April 14, 15, & 16 for a re-creation of the fur trade era gatherings of trappers and Native Americans. The schedule of events will be posted when they become available.
