Wasatch Front business community builds home for army hero widow and her seven young children
August 19, 2021
Jennie Taylor, the widow of the late Brent Taylor, who died serving in the Utah Army National Guard in Afghanistan, was grateful to break ground on the new home she and her seven young children will be moving into once construction is complete. The home is being built by Nilson Homes in partnership with Have a Heart, the non-profit and community service project arm of the Northern Wasatch Association of REALTORS®.
Nilson Homes is dedicated to building communities along the Wasatch Front and is proud of their history of building over a dozen homes for families with special needs. Jennie’s story is particularly noteworthy as her husband passed away nearing the end of a year-long deployment. He was the Mayor of North Ogden at the time. Jennie has had the challenge of raising her family - four boys and three girls - on her own.
This year, Have a Heart Home is asking REALTORS®, homebuilders and affiliates to support the building of the "Brent and Jennie Taylor Family Home." Jennie and her family are depending on your generosity.
Please take a moment to donate and help the Taylor family.
