EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR DESIGN STUDIO

February 22, 2019

Building a custom home from scratch can be a lengthy process. From start to finish, there are many details to consider including where you’ll build, finalizing the floor plan, and selecting design details. While picking out fixtures, floor coverings, countertops and everything in between is an exciting part of the process, it can be overwhelming. Most builders partner with several different businesses and while this ensures there’s a nice range of selections, homeowners find themselves parading from one to the next. To make matters even more complicated, they have to keep track of samples from multiple places or even backtrack to make comparisons.

With Nilson Homes, that’s not the case. With our new, state of the art Design Studio, our clients are able to find everything they need in one place. The Design studio is filled with a range of designer-quality tools and displays to make it easier for you to find the finishes you love. To help streamline the process, our on-site design specialist will walk you through each step of making exterior and interior selections.

You’ll be able to compare different exterior finishes like stucco and stone and see how they pair with other exterior elements of your home such as the shingles. When it comes to making interior selections, our Design Studio has it all. From floor coverings and lighting to cabinetry and countertops, designing a home that reflects your unique style is simpler than it’s ever been.
