Orchid Show

Join the Utah Orchid Society for a dazzling display of both common and exotic orchid varieties. Society members will share methods for keeping plants healthy and happy, and provide troubleshooting advice for budding orchid enthusiasts. A large selection of both plants and pottery will be on sale for those interested in starting their own collection.

Simply Spring
When: April 3^rd, 2016 | 4-7pm

“Simply Spring!” begins at 4:00 p.m. and the cost is $55.00 per person. “We have reserved the entire upstairs mezzanine for our event,” said Branch President Mindy Mason Gautreau. “Come and mingle with current IWFS of SLC members and learn more about membership and upcoming events.” Located at the newly redeveloped 300 South corridor at 279 East in Salt Lake City, Under Current “adds a contemporary, comfortable option for entertainment and conversation in a newly refurbished historic building,” according to their website. Kayenta Arts Foundation Block Party

Street Painting Festival
When: April 23^rd and 24th

The sixth annual Kayenta Arts Foundation Street Painting Festival will take place April 23 & 24, 2016, 10-6 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.  Free and open to the public.  It will be held once again on the beautiful streets of the Kayenta Art Village, located in the desert community of Kayenta, Ivins, Utah. This Festival brings students and professional artists together to create a world of magical street art in an amazing explosion of color reflecting the theme Rock, Stars, and Wildlilfe! Using the asphalt as a canvas and pastels and chalk as the medium, large painted murals unfold at the feet of thousands of spectators.  Arrive on Saturday morning, the first day, to see the early sketches of the works and watch the student competition. Come back on Sunday to see local professional artists complete their masterpieces.

Second Annual Foodtrepreneur Festival
