5th Annual Invitational Icebreaker Rodeo

Current High School and Jr. High School members of the National High School Rodeo Association compete for $35,000 in cash and prizes including Trophy Saddles and Buckles. Contestants come from all over the United States to compete. Great Family Entertainment. A real treat for all contestants that are able to compete in this professionally run event!

Hostlers Model Railroad Festival

When: March 4 – March 6, 2016

The Hostlers Model Railroad Festival is an annual event that brings nearly 9,000 visitors to Union Station the first weekend of March.

The entire building is filled top to bottom with model train displays and model train vendors.  The 2014 Festival marked the 25th anniversary of the festival.  The Hostlers Model Railroad Club is a wonderful supporter of Union Station, making a substantial annual donation and maintaining the Wattis Dumke Model Railroad in the Utah State Railroad Museum at Union Station.

Utah Gun Collectors Show & Sale

Northern Utah premier gun show & sale. The attendees will be treated to a wide variety of firearms, ammunition for sale, and various displays of firearms. Period costumed vendors are on hand to educate you about the history of the firearm through the years.

SaltCON 2016

SaltCON is a Board Game Convention for families, gamers, and game designers. Games are fun, teach us how to interact, simulate historical and contemporary events, and, most importantly, they provide a common bonding experience between players.

The mission of SaltCON is “to bring people together with games.” Come play with your family and friends. We have exhibitors, prizes, Game teachers, tournaments and a huge game library to try out new games. We’ll have board, card, and party games available.

 Junction City Roller Dolls Roller Derby Bout

Features the “Train Wrecks, and the Dolls” against teams from around the Intermoutain West.

World CHARIOT championships

When: Sunday, March 20, 2016, 1 – 2 p.m.
Where: Golden Spike Event Center / Race Track & Grandstands

The fastest athletes from around the world are harnessed in teams of 2 and pull a chariot for 440 yards while competing head to head against other teams. This is a fun filled family sport that boasts ­a fun and unique experience.

Races start at 12:00P each day during the World Cutter and Chariot Racing Championships. Admission is only $8 for adults and kids under 12 are free.
